I recently had cause to move some postings from one forum to another, but this leaves a link with the words 'this message has been moved'

normally very useful, but not in this case. how can I remove it.

I have a similar problem... under 5.x, I moved a bunch of messages as admin with the "this post has been moved" tick enabled because I thought I'd like that feature. Now looking back, I wish I hadn't because there are just too many and it looks cluttered, and so now I'd like to remove those "this post has been moved" posts altogether.

Is there a way to delete those notifications now (after moving)?

Oh BTW that check box is actually called "Leave shadow copy" under 5.x forums when moving a topic, which results in "This topic has been moved" posts I'd now like to delete.
