I have the following snippet in a text of mine:

Seiter starts with the assumptions of the "principal agent theory(Wikipedia: Principal Agent Problem)":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principal–agent_problem where interactions between individuals which are built on asymmetric information may lead to problems for either or both parties.

It converts fine on http://www.textism.com/tools/textile/index.php, but not in my installation on drupal. Am I doing something wrong?

You have used an em-dash instead of an en-dash. It works like this: Seiter starts with the assumptions of the "principal agent theory(Wikipedia: Principal Agent Problem)":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Principal-agent_problem. You can try here: http://txstyle.org
