gss.xsl was released under the GNU Lesser General Public License. Drupal requires everything in its repository to be licensed under the GNU General Public License. I contacted the gss.xsl copyright holder and asked if they could release it under the GPL. I will post their reply as soon as I receive it.

Let me say - i don't know why we need this XSL file... XML Sitemap is absolutely technical and it doesn't need to styled... i can read XML styled or non-styled - my point.

The LGPL permits the relicensing of any single copy of an LGPL library from LGPL to GPL (article 3 of the LGPL).
