Would love to know this too -- I've deeply integrated this module in a pretty big project.

Info is conflicting -- Drupal "Available Updates" report says the above, but project page says the project is still active.

If I need to get out, I need to do it now. And if so, this is going to cost me. :-(

Now I see same thing for Storage API 6.x... Augh.

If this project is abandoned, the Maintenance status and Development status should be marked as such on the project page.
