Configuration / Change Management
jdblank - April 29, 2007 - 23:20
I was wondering if there are any modules that outout the entire Drupal setup and document the modules and configurations.
I would like to use drupal in our corporate environment but this is a concern our it people and developers bring up.
Any resources or suggestions are appreciated.

And rightly so
They are right for being concerned about configuration and change control. My congratulations for their concern. This is something that is largely ignored in web environments.
I'm not aware of any such modules. But if they can give me some ideas on what parts they are looking for, I may put it on my "ToDo" list.

If you're interested in working on something like this...
I created a group for "Site Documentation module" over at groups.drupal.org. I haven't gotten around to doing any coding around it yet... but some initial brainstorming is there anyway.

Thanks. Right now, all
Thanks. Right now, all production code we produce has automated unit tests. I did find a unit test module and a Selenium test module that they are reviewing.
Maybe?
