How do I turn off and Ad without deleting it?

Try to set Active date to Future date and make the ad Unpublished.

It looks like this issue is fixed. I'm closing it, unless someone still has issues with it.

Reopening as a feature request to allow this to be unpublished without changing the date as it's not an obvious solution to first change the date. My first thought is that if an advertiser paid for a specific time period but requests the ad to be temporarily disabled then enabled again, keeping the same paid period, the admin would need to keep track of when the start and stop dates are outside of the module (probably on a post-it note). It would be great to keep the original dates intact while just rendering the ad unpublished. Possible?

I will add new checkbox "Active/Inactive" to the next release.
