Hi! This sounds like a great module. I'd like to use it with Drupal Commons. Drupal Commons uses the module "Commons Events" where this module uses/requires "Event". the DC module creates a content type "Event".
Has anyone tried simply changing the module requirement and enabling RSVP? This would be a powerful addition to Commons , esp. if it just worked.

ricks03 commentedIn answer to my own question, nope, it does not "just work" if you remove the requirement for the actual Event module:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function event_is_enabled() in example/sites/all/modules/rsvp/rsvp_eventconnector.module on line 77
A shame. RSVP sounds SO much more applicable to Drupal Commons than signup.

davidam commentedOk, I've been researching about it. We need edit the content type Event, click RSVP settings and select Date as Date field to use for Invitations. Then in a node of this content type will appear the tab Invitations to create Invitations. Later we can modify views to adapt this new feature.
