I recently installed Views and Views UI modules to try some slideshows.

But even after installing and enabling both the modules, in Admin-Structure, there are only Blocks, Contact form, Content types, Menus and Taxonomy items.

What is missing now? How do I get Views on the Structure menu?

That was the missing bit. All is working well now.

what happens when you visit the following path: yoursite.com/?q=admin/structure/views
