This modules is very buggy and produces totally different POT files. Don't give it to the users as an official package, please. Many sites linking here, but it's unusable. I have had a time consuming discussions ended with - we use msgcat and the old extractor.php until this is fixed. I don't like to commit such big changes to CVS, where nothing has changed on the strings.

Well, if people are not using this, we are not getting the feedback, and this will *never* get better. You think we better stay with a command line extractor? It is better for translators? Or we should work on improving the web based functionality? The patch queue is open, so far we received no patches to improve on the potx functionality (and very few bug reports by the way).

Nope, the webtool is very good idea! I'd like it much more then command line - BUT it should be "ready for production" before we say - "use this tool only" :-)
