Summary:
I am building a site where people can buy buildings. The list of available buildings will be sent to a database from a CRM system along with things like images and floor plans. I want to be able to pull this info into drupal so that I can manipulate it.

Goals:

I want to be able to use views to display a table of available buildings and filter the table by things such as locations, price etc
When a new building is added to the database, I would love for a node to be automatically created with the building description, images and floor plans.
If the building is removed from the database or marked as unavailable, it should be removed from the website.

Does it have to be a node or can it be a view pulling directly from your database? And what kind of database is it, MySQL? We've accomplished something like this for http://quevin.com/projects/insideviewcomdirectory -Kevin
