I have an immediate need for someone to add eCommerce functionality to an existing eLearning site built in Drupal.
We want to have recurring subscriptions. We have custom activities defined in our courses, and we would like subscription charges to be conditional upon whether subscribers have completed certain activities or not. In other words, subscribers can avoid charges or earn reduced fees if they complete certain programmed activities within set timeframes from their subscription date.
The developer will need to implement a custom bridge that can map a purchase to a subscription. This is similar to RegCode, but at our custom learning groups level. Likely, this will need to be added as an extension into our current code base.
We’re open about which payment gateway we would use.
Our server is currently not secure to store credit card information, so the contractor would need to do any needed upgrades for PCI-compliance.
In terms of modules, we currently use Notifications, Context, and Features as well as more standard modules, plus custom code for activities tracking.
For the eCommerce project, we need someone who’s really good and building custom eCommerce implementations with hooks into our code. It’s not just a standard “configure Ubercart” type project.
In your response, please give me references to specific past projects that you have successfully completed which demonstrate your capabilities for my specific needs. I will not respond to generic "we are Drupal experts" solicitations. Your reference work does not need to be specifically about eLearning, but rather projects that demonstrate similar skills and complexity in eCommerce integration. If you point me to specific projects in your portfolio that do that, I will look at them.
