We have an existing eLearning site. We have an upcoming need to add new functionality to the site, and more generally I am looking for a reliable development partner for long-term work on a contractor basis. I anticipate that I'll spend about $30,000 per year on development.
I have one specific project now that I'm ready to get started on.
Our courses are effectively a series of book nodes. These book nodes are access-restricted to specific users by means of Company and Learning Group memberships. The Learning Groups leverage the existing Organic Groups module to handle membership tasks. Filtering, UI, and permissions are handled separately via custom modules.
We have implemented custom course activities. The upcoming project is to add new activity types for courses and new progress tracking hooks into the progress tracking dashboard for each user.
For the first project, we need someone who is a solid Drupal developer who can understand our existing system, work with me to flesh out the design in a way that makes sense for our needs and for what Drupal can do, and then implement and maintain solid code.
I can provide more detailed information on this once we’ve identified a potential vendor and executed an NDA.
In your response, please give me references to specific past projects that you have successfully completed which demonstrate your capabilities for my specific needs. I will not respond to generic "we are Drupal experts" solicitations. Your reference work does not need to be specifically about eLearning, but rather projects that demonstrate similar skills and complexity. If you point me to specific projects in your portfolio that do that, I will look at them.
