drupal Access denied You are not authorized to access this page.

I have created many sites successfully. On the last few I have created I log out and when I come back and login I get the message : Access denied You are not authorized to access this page.
I then have it send me a new password and make a new password and am able to get in and do things and then again when I logout and come back to login the same message.
I have been very frustrated by this and have had to send myself a new password link every time I want to get in my sites.
Help me Please! I don't understand why this is happening??

I've had the same problem...
But I can't even get in to edit anything... I was looking for the answer to this! I'm not alone!
same here
I and another designer have noted this issue on different sites we have designed. I think they are both 5.0.
The site i am having trouble with is http://www.colinsalter.info
After a password request, it appears to let me in though i can't edit anything (access denied).
I have not had a chance to look at it in detail, though have made a number of attempts to get past this.
Was hoping others had suggestions...
!@!
After my password request I AM able to access and edit everything. BUT when I log out I then cant get back in again until I request a password.
?
Did you check all your permissions?

If using PHP 5.2 , you may want to check out this handbook page. http://drupal.org/node/102114
No
Im using 4.4.4
The sites that I cant get into are sub-domains of my main site. The main site I am able to get into.
I had exactly the same
I had exactly the same problem, which in my case seemed to be related to when I was running MySQL on non-standard ports (even when I'd specified the correct port during installation)... don't know if that helps you at all?
same problem
Can login after resetting the password, but access denied the next time when I login.
Sunish
different browser , no problem
I just tried logging in with opera and it worked. Came back to firefox and it still didn't work
Different Browser
Wow! This works! But why?
I had tried deleting private
I had tried deleting private date including cookies and cache, but next time I used FF got the same error message.I think it has something to do with subdomains and saving passwords in FF
Yes!! I got it!!
Thank you all!! So I just went to Firefox internet options - privacy - private data - and checked every box
I can now access my sites with no problem!
