Hey guys I would like to show you my new website which was built on Drupal 5.x. It uses a modified spreadfirefox theme. I just kept the bottom section of the site since it presents well with my header. I used a single image for the top menu items, so my website loads a lot faster. Earlier it had like 8 items and that took like 5seconds to load. Now it loads instantly.
I turned on all optimization options, so the website is even faster. The server administrator also optimized the servers nodes. I'm also planning to install eaccelerator, for maximum performance.
The site consists of about 250 nodes. We have covered the entire Gran Turismo series and provided the first Unofficial GT4 Game Guide which has 200 of content (in A4 format) The most important thing when your running a site which has a lot of nodes it is to optimize your database in phpmyadmin otherwise drupal will start to work very slowly!
