API.drupal.org is moving out of the documentation section navigation, #1392196: Redo Documentation section navigation. It will have its own header like https://association.drupal.org/. That means we need a set of primary links, the ones in the dark blue box at the top right. The site had:
Developing for Drupal - http://drupal.org/contributors-guide
Report a bug - http://api.drupal.org/support
but that was a long time ago. What would be good today?

jhodgdonAt the moment, since api.drupal.org basically only indexes the Drupal project, probably we should just make Drupal 6, 7, and 8 the primary links? I can't think of anything else on api.drupal.org that would merit a primary link, but I'm not familiar with any other content on the site besides the API reference (I didn't know about that support page for instance).
We could also consider linking to
http://drupal.org/documentation/develop (Develop for Drupal book on d.o)
http://drupal.org/developing/api (API guides on d.o, which is in the Develop for Drupal book)
...
As we start indexing more projects, I think it might be useful to have a primary link to a Projects page that would list all the projects indexed. Actually, I'll add that as a feature request for the API module, because it currently doesn't list the projects except at the bottom of the listing pages and the default project home page. It seems like a separate page would be useful.
#1409240: Make a projects listing page
Hmmm...
OK, how about for now:
Drupal 6
Drupal 7
Drupal 8
Develop for Drupal

drummI set these in the primary links menu, so they will show when #1392196: Redo Documentation section navigation is done.
