Howdy,

Running Rules with the latest versions of Tokens and Entity and it is no longer processing tokens when rules are evaulated and mails are sent.

The mail arrives, but it contains the token and not the corresponding field data.

As an aside, I'm not sure I've ever had this functionality working on Drupal 7 so can't confirm whether it has ever worked.

Try the patch in #1547160: Support variable substitution in direct input mode, or maybe follow up in #1533398: Token replacements don't work on parameters with type "entity", though I think that's a duplicate too. Report findings.
