Enabling the Answers custom module requires its dependencies as well and generates the following warning:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in element_children() (line 6161 of C:\Documents and Settings\Compaq_Administrator\My Documents\_web\CR\includes\common.inc).

with this page content:

You must enable the Eva, Menu, Node Reference, References, Node Reference Count, Node Reference URL Widget, Strongarm, Statistics modules to install Relevant Answers.

This sounds like an issue with the answers module.

Hi @Ashlar, can you tell me the sequence of events that led to the warning message?

The message appears to be about the Relevant Answers module (which in turn depends on Answers). And it is accurate that you must enable the dependencies to run the module.

I'll see if I can duplicate it. Thanks.

@chipcleary. This is a fresh site. No content yet. I was just loading and enabling modules to get it going. After downloading Answers and the related and dependency modules, I checked off Answers, Best Answers, and Related answers, but not the dependencies. As expected I got the form screen asking to enable the dependency modules, but I also got these errors. The modules are now enabled and appear to be working correctly.

Glad to hear it seems to be working correctly after that message.

Unfortunately, I can't duplicate this. I started with a fresh site with latest versions of all modules as of today. I first tried enabling Answers, Best Answer, and Relevant Answers one at a time. No errors. Then again all together. No errors.

The list of dependencies I get is this:

You must enable the Eva, Views, Chaos tools, Features, Node Reference, References, Node Reference Count, Node Reference URL Widget, Strongarm, Statistics modules to install Relevant Answers.

Comparing this to yours, it looks like you had already installed a couple of modules. However, it also looks like you did not have Menu installed (which is installed by default for me). Not sure whether that has any relevance.

Anybody else have this issue?
