I´m not a developer, but what changes should be made in the module to make it to wortk with D7?

Yes, there will be a D7 release. I can't quite say when, but I'm working on it.

Yeah, oy, it's been a year. Deep apologies. The basic problem is that the module needs a ground-up rewrite, given the API changes in Drupal 7. I also hoped to code this so that it wouldn't be a major pain to upgrade to D8, but that's a moving target.

Anyway, I haven't had a lot of time (and no financial support) to get this done, so it's on the bottom of the pile. I had hoped to finish by DrupalCon Portland, but I'm not optimistic at this point.

If anyone knows anyone who could actually pay to get this done, that's probably how it's going to get done. Otherwise, I'm not sure where the time to get to this will come from (I'm a part-time freelancer - I don't work for a shop that can support me to code.) If someone else has free cycles to work on it, I'd be happy.

Ultimately, organizations need to find ways to pay for the support of free software. It's a hard sell in tough times, but it's more about culture change I think than about the $$.
