I have been looking through the lists and experimenting but I can't see a good way to do this. I have tried using the Custom Token module to create a token that detects a country and makes this a token value. That is all fine. However I cannot find a way to have this placed in the country field of the mailchimp sign up form.

I think that having all of the information on the forms coming from the logged in user loses a lot of the visitors to the site who may want to sign up for a news letter but not create an account. The general policy we will have on a web site is that visitors will not have to register or login but we do want them to get on to the news letter.

Has anyone else done this? Suggestions? Pointers?
