Doesn't adapt in Chrome

I can confirm this - included adaptive layouts do not adapt in Chrome - when only one region in a row has an element, that element stays confined to that region and does not expand across the whole row.

Can one of you who have the problem make a publicly accessible webpage showing this? I still can't reproduce this error.

Are you using in-place editor in panels?

I had this same experience in Firefox. Works fine in Safari and Chrome.

I'm working with Panelizer and using the 4-3 layout. Even with all content in one or more left-most panels, Header Left or Top Left (doesn't matter), the page is rendered as if the left quarter of the page is fixed, rather than adaptable.

Yes, I'm using in place editor.

This happened to a few pre-existing nodes after I panelized the content type, itself, and assigned some added fields to panes. I didn't see the problem on other nodes when I panelized them one-by-one before I did the panel assignments in the content type.

It seems as if resetting panels back to default in the content type panelizer, fixed the messed up nodes.

I had a similar problem again. This time, my panels expanded in Firefox, but didn't expand in Safari, even though the live preview looked fine. A number of nodes had been converted without problem, but one of them just got stuck in two of the narrow, 4x4 columns. I cleared cache, saved and saved again, but I couldn't get that one page to display properly.

There is a comment in the Panelizer docs about Full Page Override not playing well with Default, saying that you shouldn't use both.

So I turned off the Panelizer "Full Page Override" ( admin/config/content/panelizer ), and used the "Default"... and then had to go apply the layout and content changes to all my nodes again.

I think it is a Panels/Panelizer problem, perhaps with an IPE interaction. There is some chatter at panelizer about disabling not working or Full Page Override problems.

But, the issue probably needs to be monitored here as the Panels Extra Layouts do the responsive thing and the nice "expand when empty" thing.
