Sorta, the uc_downpayment module, works on a per/product basis, the great thing about the uc-partial payment module, is that the partial payment is applied to the whole order, which is what I'm looking for. I notice that if you don't disable the "full payment" option in the checkout pane settings,that both show up. I'm thinking it would not be that hard to code something in that allows (perhaps on the cart page) a person to choose full or partial payment options so that on the checkout page either one shows up. I'm just not code savy enough to do it.

the partial payment module does exactly what I want it to do, as far as functionality goes, alhtough,the ability to choose would make it perfect.

Basically what I'm trying to say is that it would be great if there was a method for the customer to choose if they want to make a full payment, or a partial payment. when they get to the checkout page.
