Messages with the contact forms work just great.
If I use simplenews alone without cron, it works just fine.

But when combining simplenews with Mime Mail, I get this error:

Outgoing email failed. Message type: node
Subject: [test-ne pas utiliser] essaie de courriel en direst sans cron
Recipient: alexandreracine@gmail.com Sent via Mime Mail

No error in the mail.log file, or mail.err file.

Both versions are the latest stable (for drupal 6).

What could I do to test even more?

Drupal 6 end-of-life was 24 February 2016 - it has not been supported for more than two years.

There have been no further reports of similar problems since the original post. If this is still an issue with the Drupal 7 or Drupal 8 versions of MimeMail, please open a new issue with details on how to reproduce the problem.
