I have created a menu link where the address is http://www.randude.com/?q=node/22 which is a page where i want to put pictures i've taken at concerts...

when i add a new article, i think i link to the the "shows" page correctly but it never shows up...

http://www.randude.com/?q=node/25 the menu path looks like it's right because it shows "home and shows' in the bar right above...but going to the link i posted at the top of this question nothing ever shows up on there...

How are you adding content to the 'shows' page? Please describe it step by step.

If i am at:Home » Administration

I click on 'add content' and then 'article'

I give it a title - in this case - 'Slayer, 1991'

I gave it 2 tags - 'slayer & ticket stubs'

I added no body, but included an image

I selected 'Provide a menu link ' and chose 'shows' as the parent link

click save....it shows up on the home page....

here is another question...if i hover mouse over the 'shows' link when i am not logged in it only links back to the home page, not the 'shows' page...

OK. I see where your mistake lays. Adding an article as a sub-menu link under the existing 'shows' link won't make it display on that page. It will place it in the sitemap at exampleurl.com/shows/Slayer-1991 or something like that. If you want your articles to display as teasers one after another on the 'shows' page, with the title linking to the full article, you'll need to create a view that pulls the articles together into one page and then replace the existing 'shows' page with the page that is created by the view.

Search Youtube for 'drupal views tutorial' and try a few of the tutorials. Once you've made a bit of progress, let me know how else I can help.

I've only made slight progress - i still thank you and appreciate your help....this may be over my head....i just dont have the free time to mess with it but i am forging on with it when i can
