We're using the module in a multilingual website, using internationalisation (i18n).

It works fine in the default language where the map has the url domain.com/nl/map/node.

This page has some submenu items in the left sidebar, which work fine.

When we switch to the English translation however, and the url becomes like this: domain.com/en/map/node, our submenu items are gone. This only happens to the page with the map, the other pages in that very submenu still show their fellow submenu items.

There's seems to be somehting wrong with the UTF-8 notation as well. België is shown as België.
