How to make search ignore certain content-types?

I use casetracker module to keep track of trouble tickets, but nobody wants these
showing up in search results. How can I limit search to not search the content-types
I have casetracker managing?

I know "Advanced Search" lets me limit the type, but I want the basic search box that most users use to also limit. Possible?
