quicksketchI don't think this request is entirely thought out. If you just "Show a message", what's the rest of the page contain? A message isn't an entire page. Should it be an additional option only when the page not found is used?

Indeed the whole sense would be to display a more friendly custom message rather than "Page not Found".
This could be a templated message that instructs the user about the dependency chain ... etc.
