sunAttached patch implements variant 1b.
dries commentedI'd go with the first one, but maybe remove the second link (the one in the description)?
Part of me thinks it wouldn't hurt to mention my.mollom.com so people can memorize that URL. Not sure how to best do that. It may not be the most important thing to do.
Slightly related ...
It wouldn't hurt to show a message with a link to my.mollom.com on the comment or node administration page when this feature is enabled. It is likely that the Mollom module's setting page _and_ the Site Manager page on mollom.com are not accessible by the actual moderators. They may only be accessible by the site owner or the site builder. In other words, there is currently no good way to educate or remind the actual content moderators about my.mollom.com. Funny, that is.
In extremis, we may want an option that disables Drupal's built-in comment moderation capabilities and that redirects moderators to my.mollom.com. This may be important for site owners that want better tools to track their moderators' work. Probably beyond the scope of this issue, but something to think about.
