erroneous redirect to root domain name

i have several sub.domains created and they generaly work except:
- login redirect to root domain name
- create content "save" redirects to root domain (with access denied, but content is saved)
(note: "preview" content works fine)
domain access 7.x-3.3
drupal 7.10
