This release fixes a major issue that could prevent an upgrade from Drupal 9 to Drupal 10, if Taxonomy Access Fix and Drupal Core were updated at the same time.

How to upgrade from 8.x-2.x
To upgrade from 8.x-2.x, please update to 8.x-2.8 first. Once you have applied the database changes, you should be able to upgrade to 8.x-3.x at any time.
This is a stable release containing mostly maintenance fixes.
Unless something unexpected happens, this will be the final release on the 8.x-2.x branch. Future releases will be created from the 8.x-3.x branch. This branch will be unsupported on December 2nd, 2020 or later. All users are encouraged to upgrade to 8.x-3.x as soon as possible.
