Hi,
When uploading more files than allowed (see "number of values" when adding the widget for a content type field), the following error message is displayed:

"field_cardinality"

=> would it be possible to display a more specific message in that case, such as "the maximum number of allowed images is X"?

I couldn't find a reference to that max value in the code.

For a "Some images" image field with cardinality 2 I see the following error message if I try to upload 3 images:

Some images: this field cannot hold more than 2 values.

So this seems to have been fixed. If not, feel free to reopen.
