My Youtube thumbs used to work but not they are broken links, maybe something changed with thier server or api?

works fine for me. can you post a link?
sometimes, if a video has been removed, i've noticed that the video will still show up but not the thumbnail (from the api call). so you might want to check on youtube to double-check they haven't removed the video (usually for copyright violations).

Unfortunatly I deleted the post as it was causing the site to hang, it was definalty something on youtubes server that had changed. It was solved easily by just re-linking the same video.
