Can I change the landing page after a user completes the account registration? It seems a little silly to put them user back on the create account form after submitting the form once. I would like to send them to the home page. Is this possible?

Yes, I've looked into logintoboggan
It doesn't say that it will specifically do what I need. Plus, it adds a ton of stuff I don't need. There should be a simple way to change post-registration landing page.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
Strangely the present
Strangely the present version of LoginToboggan does offer what he is looking for.
It keeps redirecting to the user page. I tried it

The login destination module
The login destination module does not change the landing page after registration - only after login. There is a support forum request specifically asking for this feature, and its marked as won't fix by the login destination maintainer.
LoginTobaggon does allow for a change of a landing page, but it also hijacks the user login block which I do not want to have happen, in addition to providing alot of un-necessary services for someone that just wants to create a registration landing page.
It would be like buying a new car just to get the cup holders....
great idea butt...
Great idea, however it's not functioning with modal at this time. :(
