It seems that editable fields doesn't work on fields displayed in row style: fields in Views - is that a known and accepted limitation?

I take this back. I am able to get select lists, text fields, etc., basic components to work. managed_file, however, is not working at all. Even worse, clicking the "Click to edit" button on a managed_file in a View causes it to disappear and be replaced with the nearest other editablefield.

Per https://drupal.org/node/2148735, 6.x is longer maintained so issue is closed. If you wish to be a maintainer of the 6.x branch please create a new issue.
