Hi, I've enabled the core contact module, enabled the menu item and put it as parent item to the 'primary links'. So 'Contact' it's shown in the menu.
I only want authenticated users to use the contact form so in the access control I've only checked 'authenticated users'. But then when you are not logged in the button 'Contact' disapears from the menu.

I would like it to be shown and if an anonymous user tries to use it he would get a message like: 'you need to register to contact us'

How can I do it?

Instead of using contact.module menu item, create a menu item of your own (add menu item), pointing it to "contact".
