It would be awesome if there was a View attached to each release node that listed all known issues for that release - i.e. all bugs with that version number. Perhaps with a filter for just Major/Critical issues.

Currently, if a major issue is discovered, I have to manually add a note to the top of the release advising users of the problem. Otherwise, users waste their time hitting bugs that have already been filed, and I waste my time closing out duplicate bug reports. I don't see why listing known issues couldn't happen automatically.
