Restrict taxo_browser search to one node type - hard coded

I want to use the taxonomy browser within a static page, in other words not by going to server.com/taxonomy_browser, but by using "print(taxonomy_browser_overview());" within a php page. Is there a way to force it to only return stories instead of having my audience select node types? They will be confused by the content type selector - they dont' know the difference.
