Is there any documentation with the actual steps necessary to use the Book module using only Panels 7.x.3.0 and Panels Everywhere. I am using the Theme Precision which does not have any regions so I can not insert any blocks.
I am using D7 and when I use a site that has regions for blocks I am able to use the book module but not in panels.
I have looked through the some of the issues about books and panels but they all seem to use D6 and I have not been able to grasp what to do.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do or where there is information preferably a step by step, to make the Book module display in a panel and not just in a block?

Letharion commentedI don't use the book module much, so because of that I don't have any general "This is how you use it" advice. Normally, any block that's available to core is available to Ctools, and thus Panels. I do remember there being some type of exception with regard to books though. Please ask a more precise question, and I will try to give a more specific answer. :)

jimclegg commentedThanks for the quick response
The problem I'm having is the navigation links do not appear below the book content. My configuration is D7.10
I am using Panels and PE without any blocks.
I have the book module installed and I created a new book called Instructions Book Cover which is set as the top-level page. I promoted it to the front page and saved it.
I added a second Book page content >> Instructions Book Pg 1 Configuration. I selected the Book outline link and made it part of the Instructions Book Cover then saved it.
When I go to the front page and click the link Instructions Book Cover it expands but no navigation links appear below the content.
You can see it at www.bsengenhariaeservicos.com.br

jimclegg commentedI figured out part of making the book and its navigation links work in panels. I have a few different sites and I was able to make the book functional in one of the sites but I was not able to complete it with the child page link because I could't find it. In addition the site that the book functions in, has a lot more Node(tokens) to choose from than the other sites which allowed me to get it functioning.
I have a few question about completing the book in panels:
Do you know which controls the Book option uses when adding Node(tokens) content to a variant?
In addition do you know where can I find or what makes the child page link appear as an option so I can add that for the book into a panel?
