Patch attached. Now I also see "Problem with stream_select()".

Seems never tested before a release.

I've switched the order around, so it try non-blocking first (the fastest) and goes from there; should make the status page load faster once httprl works correctly. Patch also fixes a fatal bug introduced by one of the other patches committed tonight. Committed to 6.x & 7.x.

The reported issue might be related to #1420084: Status page shows warning as it's using IPv6 and not IPv4 address
