A Fill PDF user posted #1390060: Integration with Webform2PDF (Attach Filled PDFs to Emails), so I thought I would check here if this sort of integration would interest you if I wrote a patch. It looks like the integration point would be at the time of PDF generation, and Fill PDF configurations would be used instead of TCPDF-based form generation. The user could configure this per Webform. When used this way, Webform2PDF would basically make using Fill PDF with Webforms easier in the use cases Webform2PDF supports.

Seems like there is some redundancy between these two modules. Has there been any comparison of the features provided by both? Is there a critical mass in the community to effectively maintain both?

Just realized that Fill PDF is primarily a front end to a web service so not that much duplication.

Ah, had forgotten about this request, though definitely still relevant for Webform and e-mail (I intend to do it via Rules integration in Fill PDF).

Fill PDF can be used with the Web service, yeah, or locally on a server that can install the needed software.

Right now the impetus for this has been resolved with Rules integration, so no plans unless re-requested for other reasons.
