I have looked through the code and done a few searches but I can't seem to find any mention of Ubercart ever supporting Paypal PDT Read here for information.

Essentially, PDT compliments IPN and allows a store to immediately deliver a digital product once a buyer returns to the return_url rather than asking them to wait a bit and check later as would be the case with IPN only. PDT needs to work alongside IPN as there are no guarantees that the buyer will return to the return_url, but it would be nice to have the option of immediately delivering a product.

I will be needing PDT for a product I am working on, so this is my request to see if anyone has done any previous work on it before I look at giving it a try.

No, there's no support for PDT yet in the Ubercart PayPal module. A patch to add that would be welcome.
