As you can see, there are many groups for each ad, but in reality, it's more like 1 or 2 groups per ad. I have messed with the files a little bit, which file would be causing this not to update?

I found that the issue is with the term_node table. The TID get's added, but never removed when de-selected. Can you tell me which line to look at (or approx the code) to make sure it's doing what it should? I've searched the entire "ad" folder for the text "term_node" within files, and the attached image is all I found.
