splashify 7.x-1.3

Unsupported

Fixed a problem where I was including a json file without the headers. It was stripped from minifying the JS. Since this was there for IE7, I decided that this was not needed anymore.

Keep in mind that if you upgrade to this version, you will need to make sure things work as you expect in IE7 (if you need to support that browser). Otherwise things should work as they did before.

splashify 7.x-1.0

The first major release of Splashify! This signifies that the module has been tested by many users and the issues that have been brought up have been ironed out. This also signifies a lot of browser testing. Any changes to this release will be bug or security fixes only.

splashify 6.x-1.0-beta1

Unsupported

Initial beta of Splashify for Drupal 6. This version has all the features of the Drupal 7 version, except for the following known issues:

- On the "Where" page, you can only choose to have the splash page appear on the home page, or on all pages. It is not yet possible to choose a specific internal page on which the splash page should appear.
- On the "What" page, after selecting a Splash Mode, the textarea doesn't update until after you save the form.

This release fixes a major bug when using the Redirect option, where it was displaying a white screen after the first visit when selecting anything other than Always under the When option.

I also added support for including the Mobile Detect library using the libraries module, instead of manually including it with this module.

Especially if you are using the redirect option, I highly suggest upgrading to this version.

splashify 7.x-1.0-rc2

Added an option to disable the referrer check in the admin, that allows the splash page to show up to visitors that are already on your site on certain pages.

Also fixed an IE7 + IE8 bug that was using the JS indexOf.

splashify 7.x-1.0-rc1

Since alpha5, the main thing that was fixed was the smoothness of using the redirect option. Nothing else was done since then.

This signifies that we trying to push a full release for this module soon. Please test and report any bugs, so that we can get these ironed out before a fully release!

This release implements the following:

- Splashify now works with Anonymous Page Caching turned on. Most of the logic is now done in the JS code.

- Splashify no longer depends on the Mobile Tools module for options on a mobile device. We now include the Mobile Detect library: http://code.google.com/p/php-mobile-detect/ . This is a much lighter option than what we were doing before. Since we no longer use Mobile Tools, this functionality is available right out of the box.

splashify 7.x-1.0-alpha4

Unsupported

Fixed a main issue that was preventing Splashify from working in alpha3. Added support for Libraries 2.0, so please make sure to upgrade to that version.

There are some complaints with how slow the redirect and colobox are. See this issue for the discussion: http://drupal.org/node/1543782 . This is the next big issue I am going to tackle with this project.
