Hello,
I strongly believe this is because of a JS issue. I installed the JS module required but either way, the chatblock's fields stay clean white, and when you try to post a message the "Send" button fades but no message sends. I'm sure about that because the log stays empty too. What could be causing this?

I really hope you'd help because this module, a lightweight shoutbox, is exactly what I've been looking for.

Can you please provide as much details as possible on your system setup (both client and server)? Do you have the possibility to cross-test this with one or two different setups (client, server or even both) in order to isolate the possible cause?

Hello, sorry for the delay. I can't test it although I'd like to, do you have any ideas on what could be wrong? It looked like a simple JS issue.

How would I be able to test it while you seem to be the only one with that specific problem and I don't even know your setup? This will really not work without any more details.

(I could of course recommend reinstalling Windows, buying a new PC, deinstalling all other modules and plugins... but honestly, I could as well go and get me a crystal ball...)

Already found a similar module that works flawlessly last month, leave it be then.

Had this issue too,
disabled Smart poll stepwidth (set to 0) here /admin/structure/chatblock

and problem dissapeared.
