Hello,
We're getting together to hatch a new website by the 15th of May and want someone local(Hawai`i) to translate our vision into reality via Drupal.
This will be either Kona side or Hamakua area.
We are looking for media capabilities, audio and video, e-commerce and blog-like functionalities.
We don't need it all at once, but we do need a basic stable site with a suitable design in place by the 15th due to publication in Japan of an article relating to our business. The site may be in English, though we may offer a Japanese version to follow.
We are a small, long-established company producing specialized electronic equipment; we are changing our name and broadening our focus; we wish to have a fresh site to present our new image and provide enhanced online services to our customers such as instructional/educational video and audio.
We're after equal strengths in Design and Drupal back-end.
Security issue awareness is vital for us. You should be able to tell me how you will protect us from cross-site scripting attacks and other vulnerabilities.
We're now hosted with GoDaddy shared account so we're not even sure GD can or will handle Drupal.
We are willing to host elsewhere if the host supports Drupal installs. We do not want to host on our own machines, though I have a test install just to investigate Drupal.
For what it's worth, we love and use Macs; but we use PC's also.
Please have a portfolio of your Drupal work for us to view, even if it's work in progress or on your test server.
Respond here with your contact information and anything you'd like us to know about you and your work.
It's possible we could work remotely with you, but you must be in Hawai`i.
You must not "farm-out" or outsource the work; you must be the principal designer/coder.
Designer/Coder teams considered as well.
mahalo nui
