A client wants to do a social networking site. It would be for dancers, dancers would go on the site to create profiles, dance groups can create profiles and individual dancers can create profiles. People would view these profiles and would be able to message the profile owners, and if they are available for chat, then chat online with them. They can view photos and video postings of the profile owners. There would also be taxonomies grouping profiles in nations like nigeria, brazil and in genres like hip hop or cultural dance and down like lagos, abuja (lagos and abuja are geographical states in nigeria) dancers. Just dancers sharing among themselves.
People would go on the site to discover the world of dancers. Dance events would also be posted on the site, photos and videos. There would archives of popular nigerian dance events and competitions. There would be tit bits like dancer of the week/month. Greatest dancer of all time and such activities.
I have been using Drupal for like a year now and I have done a few Drupal sites of my own, but I am not able to do this project all alone using Drupal hence I want to hire a Drupal programmer to lend a hand on the project. Please let me know your quote and execution time frame. Being that I work with Drupal too, you can just lay out the difficult stuff for me and I would then build on it.
