First off I'd like to say that my site is still under development. For the most part I have edited and incorporated much of the modules and code into the site myself. I lack help from any other programmer sources so things are going slow. The site also lacks a CSS designer and graphics designer.
The reason I posted my site on this forum is mainly to show the customization level Drupal offers. Although I lack experience as a PHP and MySQL programmer, I was about to "fix" and rewrite some modules to suite my site's theme. Most of the time these changes were minor, for instance, until it was recently upgraded I changed the buddylist module to have the words "Status" instead of "online". Also instead of "yes" and "no" I changed these to online(italicized) and offline(bolded).
My more complex work would be the movie database module where the install script did not properly create tables. I also fixed some of the code so the IMDB text showed correctly, instead of not at all. Using the CCK module I incorporated images into the person part of the moviesdb module.
The site also shows a large amount of separate modules functioning perfectly together, without any conflict.
I edited the images module to not show any information below a thumbnail, which makes for a more "Gallery" type style then an "album" style. I also plan on getting rid of the list icons (little circles) next to the picture while maintaining a ordered structure.
The forums used are UIEFORUM with a few of the manual minor bug fixes such as the breadcrumbs error and flood control timer error.
Since the reviews module does not properly show reviews using the menu link I have used the taxonomy list module to display content made with the reviews module.
I have a completely rewritten profile page which I used Drupal's help section to create a custom profile page on my own. The only thing I wasn't able to display correctly was the Birthday module's birthday info, from which the author of the module offered no help for over a few months.
I hope this shows the power of Drupal and how it can be customized to suite anyone's needs. Besides a few modules that are lacking for a community site (flash games and such) Drupal is the perfect CMS for what I am doing.
I would like to thank the Drupal team for providing a free easy to use and powerful CMS to a community that desperately needed one. I have high hopes for Drupal and its future and will return to this site on a regular basis.
