I received an email notification yesterday, the 31st of January for an order placed but the weird things are
- Order number is the same as the order number of an order that was cancelled in the past.
- The order doesn't show on the order table
- I use the Mail Logger module to log all outgoing email and the email I received is not on the email list and neither is the email sent to the customer
- The item ordered's Title and Price was changed but the order contained the old info (Old title and old price).
- The customer is not on my user list (Customers are usually registered once they place their order)
The only thing that makes this order real is that it shows in PayPal.
It feels so weird. Does anyone have an idea of what happened?

longwaveWhat do the headers of the email show? Was it sent from your server, or was it spoofed somehow? Perhaps it was severely delayed somewhere along the line? Not seen anything like this before, so we will need some more precise details to even begin to help you here.

fehin commentedI don't think there was a delay in email. The date in PayPal matched the email.

longwaveThis still isn't enough information to go on to help you further; we need more details about the original order, the order details you received, timestamps, etc. to be able to diagnose this.

fehin commentedI just figured out what happened. The customer ordered through out test site. Google also index the testing site so she clicked on that instead.

longwaveThanks for letting us know.

fehin commentedHow can I duplicate the order on the live site for information purposes only?

longwaveThere is no supported way of exporting or importing orders, you will just have to recreate it manually.
