random representative nodes excluding current node

Hi,

Here is what I want to accomplish:

Show a node with a EVA field. This field must show term teasers with representative nodes that should't match the main displayed node. To accomplish this I add a contextual filter using the representative node relationship ID, excluding it.

Nothing is displayed unless I remove the filter. In such case a representative node could be the main node.
