I can't reach my website because drupal has blocked my computer from exiting this site... I have contacted the host of my website and they can access my website through my login and they helped me by removing this "blocking" of my computer (they go Configuration/IP-adress blocking). But somehow it happened again, without me doing anything, and I called the support of my website again and they removed the blocking again, but then it happened again!

The host of my website says it has something to do with drupal. I have 7.10 and are going to update to 7.12 but now I can't access it from my computer...

So please - if anyone nows whats wrong and what to do, please let me know. I am, as probably understood, not very familiar with building websites so please explain it very simple - as for an idiot ;-)

I have Mac Air, drupal 7.10, safari if that is of any help...

Thank you in advance!

It has nothing to do with Drupal. That should be obvious: if your host can remove the block, it must be on their servers / firewall. It is unlikely they are going into your Drupal site and in any case Drupal will not automatically block any IP AFAIK. If they continue to say it has something to do with Drupal you might ask what, exactly. But I seriously doubt it. Such blocks come about either because the IP is on a blacklist, or because you have had several failed login attempts.

If the host tells you the exact cause of the blocking that would help. If they cannot tell you, I would suspect they are relatively low grade host, and suggest you upgrade to a real Drupal specialist host, or get a VPS, which could save you many other problems as well as this one.
