I've been using the Community Tags module for several weeks on my web site.
During that time I have had some issues with trolls registering an account then changing some of the community tags on nodes, publishing by me or other users, to tags that are not even relevant. Today I was just thinking that it would probably be better to allow users to create a node, tag it using community tags, but disable anyone else from changing any of the tags (except for the original person who created the node).
Is there any way to do this?
In other words, if I create a node and then tag it using community tags, is there any way to prevent other users from changing the tags that I chose?

leoklein commentedYou can do this using regular tags -- just set the Category to "free tags".

owahab commentedA feature can not be critical.

chaps2 commentedNode term synchronisation and other tag moderation features in 6.x-2.x-dev deal with this. Closing per #1068648: Community Tags 5.x no longer supported.
